Olazabal looks to ease back into contention
Lee Westwood
was in confident mood on the eve of beginning his title defence at the Andalucia Open.
The Ping golfer tees off in Spain today (March 27th) hoping to recreate his triumphant performance at last year''s event and find his best form before heading to the Masters next month for the first Major of 2008.
Westwood told BBC Sport that his "good memories" of the 2007 Andalucia Open would help his game this week but admitted that "some fine-tuning" is required if he is to be a serious contender at Augusta.
Focusing on this week''s tournament, he commented: "The course is in good condition, the fairways are immaculate [and] the greens are good, so I''m looking forward to it."
The Andalucian Open takes place at the Aloha Golf Club and is promoted by
Miguel Angel Jimenez
and Gonzalo Fernandez-Castalo.
Last year''s win saw Westwood go on to claim the Quinn Direct British Masters title and move back in the top 50 rankings after a four-year victory drought.
