Nike golfer Trevor Immelman returns to South Africa for the Nedbank Challenge, which starts in Sun City today.
The 28-year-old, who has not won a tournament since clinching his first Major title at the Masters in April, is one of three South Africans in the 12-man field, with Rory Sabbatini and James Kingston also taking part.
Speaking to the South African edition of Golf Digest recently, Immelman admitted that he has found it difficult to maintain the form which saw him hold off Tiger Woods to triumph at Augusta.
"It took me a little while to mentally come to grips with the fact that I had achieved a lifelong goal," the Cape Town-born player said.
"Probably for the first time in my life - and my career - I let golf slip down my priority list, without even realising it."
Immelman is the reigning champion at the Nedbank Challenge and will look to relocate his Major-winning form against some of the world''s top players this week.
The field also contains Sergio Garcia, Robert Karlsson, Lee Westwood, Henrik Stenson, KJ Choi, Justin Rose, Kenny Perry, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Luke Donald.
