The Launcher Ti 460 Offset Driver is designed to allow players who typically hit a fade or slice to square the face at impact, allowing them to hit it straight off the tee. Thin Crown Technology is what sets this clubhead apart from its predecessor - 15% of the weight has been removed from the top crown of the clubhead and redistributed into lower and deeper locations around its perimeter. This redistribution produces a lower center of gravity and higher launch angle for longer drives. This driver also has a plasma welded, SP700 beta titanium face, which creates a huge sweet spot for maximum forgiveness and distance on off-centre hits. In terms of comparison, the 460 Comp produces the highest launch angle and most penetrating flight of the 3 similarly-sounding drivers. This results in unmatched carry distance and roll. The first generation Launcher 460 launches high with great carry, but a higher spin rate makes its peak ball flight slightly higher than optimal. This New Launcher Ti460, launches higher than the first generation and produces less backspin than the original for a piercing ballflight that results in added carry.
