Ping Zing 2 Irons

Ping Zing 2. Offering the key weighting features of the Zing iron with more rounded shape, the Ping Zing 2 continued the emphasis on "extreme" weighting to optimise forgiveness for greater accuracy. The Ping Zing 2's sole design not only complements the extreme weighting design, but also reduces the surface area in contact with the turf to promote clean ball contact. Lee Westwood used a set of Zing 2s in helping to thump the Americans in the 2004 Ryder Cup.

Wanted an easy to hit iron and this is that, cant fault performance, took them out for the first time on holiday at the fabulous Kingsbarns last week and enjoyed the best course I've played, hit the ball really solid off tight lies. No fats, thins or shanks and good stopping on hard greens, used to play I3's and these are as good. I've played tons of irons and these are as good as any, prbbaly hit a bit higher than blades which is fine by me. Overall very happy.

Excellent irons which are really satisfying when you hit them out the middle. I have to work a bit harder to square the face with the stiff shafts but luckily they seem forgiving on off centre hits, which appear not to loose too much distance. Great irons.

For the age of the clubs they were in fantastic condition, they were rated at a 6 6 7. I would have given them an 8 6 8. ping zing 2's have got to be the easiest club i've ever hit, they have all the forgiveness of a cavity back yet i can still work left and right. After using semi blades for a while these clubs have got me hitting more greens in reg than i ever have. There just so easy. Highly recomended for any level of golfer!

PREVIOUSLY USED MIZUNOS, THE PINGS ARE MUCH EASIER TO HIT LONG AND GET THE BALL UP IN THE AIR. THE CLUBS, FROM GOLFBIDDER, ARE IN SUPERB CONDITION AND WELL WORTH THE MONEY

Just took delivery of a set of these clubs from golfbidder. 48 hours delivery to the west of Ireland, not bad. The clubs were rated at 6 for the heads, 7 for the shafts, and 7 for the grips. Iwould say they are 7,8 and 8 respectively. Absolute peaches to hit, you could turn them upside down and use the pointy end and still get distance out of them. I was using Taylor Made RAC OSs up till now, these are far nicer. In short, if you cant hit the green with these, golf is not your game. Thanks again golfbidder for your fast and professional service.
