| Tiger Woods bagged another $1.35m for his two-shot win over Ryder Cup team mate Brett Wetterich at the Blue Monster Course at the Doral Resort in Miami, Florida between 22nd-25th March 2007. No one ever got closer than three shots to Tiger on the final afternoon. The World Golf Championships are played over five continents – and feature the top 50 players from the Official World Golf Rankings along with top finishers on the money lists of six Tours comprising the International Federation of PGA Tours (PGA TOUR, European Tour, Australasian Tour, Japan Golf Tour, Asian Tour and Southern Africa Tour). The formats vary - match play, strokeplay and team - but the purses are always big! The WGC CA Championship is the fifth tournament Woods has won at least three times in a row. |

| | In Henrik Stenson's bag... | Stenson has moved from Callaway to Srixon since our last bag shots of him at the Amex at the Grove in 2006. Here we can see the top of his Srixon I-506 irons and the headcover of his Srixon W-506 driver. Old habits die hard, however, and at the bottom of the bag you can just see his trusty Callaway X-Tour wedge. This is the same set he used to win the Accenture Match Play in Atlanta, February 2007.

From the Ryder Cup matches at the K Club in Ireland, many of the world’s best players headed across the Irish Sea to The Grove in Hertfordshire for the UK leg of the World Golf Championships. With an incredible 23 under par total, Tiger Woods demolished the field to take an astonishing 12th win out of 22 WGC events. Tiger left runners-up Ian Poulter and Adam Scott a very distant eight shots behind. The formats vary - match play, strokeplay and team - but the purses are always big. On this occasion, Tiger walked away (or rather flew away in his private jet) with over 1 million euros. Hardly worth turning up was it?! |

| | In Henrik Stenson's bag... | Stenson has now moved to Srixon, but in 2006 he was still a Callaway man - and here's a nice close-up of his Callaway X-18 Pro Series irons and Callaway Forged Vintage wedges. The headcover hides a Big Bertha Fusion FT-3 driver and bottom front of the bag can be seen the white face of his Odyssey White Hot #5 putter.
