I have been a ping man for years and was using the G5 with good effect. I was planning on buying the new G10 when a friend let me borrow an FTi. I was surprised at the extra distance and also the dispersion of the ball from centre was less. A very good buy and the first competion I played in I ended up 5 over. Extra distance, good product and a very good price from golfbidder. I would certaintly recommend the FTi- Tour Draw.

Only played 2 rounds with the club but already showing that it can be very beneficial in staying on the flat part and allowing the opportunity to reach greens in regulation. Will need some adjustment to stance and position and also height of tee but this will be only a short time. Overall looks like to be a quality club from a quality manufacturer and the service received has been great.

Having owned the Nike SUMO Square driver and the Callaway FT-5 I can say that the FT-i is by far the best driver I have used for the last few years. Yes it's square but it's not ugly or imposing like the SUMO which just looked too big and clumsy. The sound is good for a carbon driver, it is a little deadened and is nothing like the cowbell sound of the SUMO which is good. It has a really solid feel at contact, the FT-5 felt good when struck but this feels even better. Overall if you are looking for a driver that does everything then go for this you won't be disappointed.

Callaway FT-I Tour Draw Driver. New for 2007. It's square - and it's here! Designed to be the world's straightest driver, the Callaway FT-i Tour uses patented Fusion Technology that moves weight away from the Centre of Gravity to produce a driver with increased horizontal and vertical stability that maximizes distance with total accuracy. This Tour version of the FT-i features a face which sits open by 0.5 degrees allowing lower handicappers to work the ball more easily. 460cc titanium drivers have made great improvements in stability and MOI. However, the weight of titanium virtually eliminates discretionary weight distribution, which is available in the FT-i driver. The carbon Composite body uses materials significantly lighter than titanium and creates discretionary mass that is distributed to the extreme perimeter, resulting in increased stability and longer, straighter bombs down the fairway. The design allows positioning of discretionary weight to the extreme corners of the clubhead, raising the MOI for unparalleled resistance to twisting both horizontally and vertically, providing forgiveness on shots hit all over the face. The Callaway FT-I driver represents a quantum leap in driver design. If your natural tendancy is to hit fades when you swing, ie you strike the ball with a left to right trajectory, you will want the FTi Draw to straighten this out. This club compensates for your swing, forcing your shots straight, thus increasing accuracy and consistency.
