Excellent service form golfbidder. Club in good condition as expected, delighted with the purchase. Easier to use than expected with good results for a high handicaper.

Fantastic, I know my handicap will tumble. I will have to re-assess all yardages aswell. Your rating of club head, shaft & grip were below what I might have rated them at, overall SUPERB.

The Ping G5 15 degree 3-wood recently purchased has enabled me to complement my options off the tee. I have found that the Blue Launch shaft has given me the ability to strike the ball in a high draw trajectory and has given me an alternative option when driving has gone off the boil! I have achieved equivalent driver length with this club.

What can I say other than I was really very pleased with both the club and the quick delivery. Initially I had reservations as the reviews said '7/10 - Good' for all three categories but as we all know, the definitions of this can vary grately from website to website. However having read Golf bidder's definition saying that 'the buyer would be very pleased with a club which is said to be in 'Good' condition so I thought I'd give it a go. Needless to say I was more than impressed with the quality of the club, it was vastly better than a G5 Driver I bought off Ebay which was supposed to be 'Excellent'!!! Will definitely be using Golf bidder again!

After playing with a Callaway five wood for most of my golfing career, I was apprehensive when purchasing my Ping G5 wood. My apprehension was unfounded, however, as after only a few shots I found that I was hitting the ball as if I had had the club for years. Not only the ease of setting up but the high ball trajectory makes this a club that any golfer could use.

I am really enjoying using my new wood. I felt I needed a club that would give me some extra distance from my 5 iron and less than my 7 wood. So far I have been pleased with the results - particularly, if I concentrate and line up my shot! Let's hope this is relected in my handicap.

Excellent wood , gives great distance and height , great for them long par 4s and par 5s . Improved my game drastically with this club, gives a great noise when u hit it sweet :)

I perchased the 16degree version of this club which arrived the next day in very good nick no probs, but on taking it to my course i found i was unable to get the best out of it due to loft being to low for me so i returned it to golfbidder and picked one with a loft more suited to my game so faf thumbs up all round!

As a high handicap player I am realizing how much better youplay withgood clubs and this is one of the best.even in poor conditions it has added yard tomy fairway drives.Excellent description(perhaps underrated the condition) and marvellous service

robert090 H.Cap 26 (Posted 16.11.07 )

This 5 wood is a great club, if u hit it right on the sweet spot it will go for miles definately improved my game on par 4s and par 5s :)

golfertrolley H.Cap 28 (Posted 19.10.07 )

Only played one game with the club upto now but found it to being very forgiving and has agood feel when striking the ball with an impressive distance, also excellent service from Golfbidder

topman100 H.Cap 28 (Posted 07.09.07 )

Only recently taken up golf and decided to invest in a set of quality fairway clubs, so bought the G5 3, 5 and 7 woods which arrived in near perfect condition, despite the 7 and 8 Golfbidder ratings. Took them onto the driving range and then onto the course and I can only say that these clubs are now my new best friends. I'm thinking of not playing with them any more, instead I'll take them out on a Friday night and go to the pub with them. They are awesome company, long, straight, very forgiving and make a nice noise when you hit them in the right place. A bit like my existing drinking buddies.

Have yet to hit a bad shot with this club after 4 rouds of golf. Have just to sort out the other 13. Great club, condition better that expected. Thank you Bill Morrison

This is a great club, just one word for it...legend

scalesy H.Cap 13 (Posted 21.03.07 )

A great little club.Easy to use with impressive performance. The distance it gives has now brought the longish par 4's into range, even at this time of the year. It also gives me the option of using it off the tee and laying up (short of trouble) as it is easier to use than a driver. Also good out of the semi and I'm happy that it's been money well spent.

farrellcolm H.Cap 17 (Posted 12.03.07 )

Since receiving these two clubs i've gained more confidence hitting the ball off the fairway. These are easy clubs to hit off the tee very long and straight.

alandb H.Cap 20 (Posted 28.02.07 )

Excellent club which now compliments my G5 Driver

minimewill H.Cap 28 (Posted 19.11.06 )

This club was the first really expensive club i've bought and what a difference. If i hit it sweet it goes miles and even on off centre hits it still goes miles. This club is better off the tee for me than my current wilson driver.

Junior999 H.Cap 16 (Posted 27.09.06 )

I needed a 3 wood that i could turn to off the tee and this is the answer ! The deeper face really inspires confidence when i'm having a bad day with the driver. Not the best of the fairway tho , if your lookking for a fairway 3 wood, the v-steel is probably a better choice. Once again , a great service from golf bidder . thanks GB!

Model Info 2007

Ping G5 Fairway Wood. New for 2006. Large, stainless steel heads combine with a 455 steel face to create a long, forgiving set of fairway woods. The strength of the face allows Ping engineers to design a thinner, more responsive hitting area. The face is machined and robotically, plasma welded to ensure consistency. Internal weight pads progress toward the back of the club in the higher lofted fairway woods for optimal spin, lift and control. The rocker sole design helps square the face at impact from a variety of lies. Ping G5 Fairway Woods are available in two 3-woods (13° and 15°), 5-wood (18°), 7-wood (21°), 9-wood (24°) and L-wood (27°).
