Just changed from a TM XR-05 as it is now non-compliant and this club seems to be just as good. Moving the weights around does make a difference to the flight so it is easy to set it up to suit your swing - very happy so far!

used to have 10.5 reg v.good .this 9.5 stiff different class way longer more roll better than any other inc nike460 tour an thats saying somthing ,905r as well .There may never be a better one than this -the chosen one keeps you in play and super long QED.

i have tried a few driners in the last few years allways in the search for a driver that i could hit easy consistently but like many golfers i like to try and 'kill' the ball' once in a while. this driver allows me to do this, i generally hit the ball around 280 yards from the tee but no matter how hard you try to hit this driver, you are allways in controll of the ball. i wouldnt worry too much about the wieghts though, in my oppinion they just add confidence to a player who has a natural fade or draw. great club would recomend it anyday.

I had been looking for a new driver for some time. Happened across this one and as I already use a Taylor Made 3 wood and a couple of rescues I thought I would like to try it. I'm so glad I did!! Straight and long are the best descriptions I can place on it, even the miss hits are not to damaging. Can't recommend it highly enough

This club is excellent! I have used it a few times now and I have to say even though I am still slicing (that's to do with my swing not the club) I am getting far more distance than before.

I had never heard of "Golfbidder" until I did an Internet "Google" search for an R7 and found this site which seemed to offer much more than any "e-bay" offers for someone like me who wanted a R7 425 quickly and at a very reasonable price. All my order instructions were carried out to the letter, and I would recommend "Golfbidder" to anyone looking for golf equipment. In respect of the R7, I am very pleased with my purchase and hope it helps my high handicap to reduce. JD

This is a very good driver which has certainly improved my distance off the tee. It has not, however, stopped the wild pulls and blocks!

As this is a Christmas present from my wife, I have not yet used the club. After Christmas i shall be able to do a review if required.

This driver is just in a different league compared to any other on the market!!! Over the years I’ve had a few different drivers, and tend to change every 6-12 months, to keep up to date with the latest technologies etc... Since purchasing this club about 6 months ago my consistency off the tee has been dramatically improved!! And with the added accuracy this driver gives me, this increases my confidence, and thus resulting in long straight drives, time after time... So what I’m saying really is, buy this driver and you won’t be disappointed!! because it's quite simply immense!!!

Well, words desert me for exactly how good this driver is. Thought all the 'weight' system of the r7 was a lot of toffee but it must do something to make the ball hit the fairway! Decided to upgrade from my old 983e and this little beauty is SO much more forgiving. Golfbidder provided excellent service yet again, for a truly excellent product.

Model Info 2007

Taylor Made R7 425. The Taylor Made r7 quad story continues with its latest release for 2006 - the r7 425 driver. While it still features the ultimate in ball flight customization with four weight ports and four removable weight cartridges, the larger 425 cc head also promotes exceptional forgiveness for longer, straighter shots - even on off-centre hits. Unless otherwise stated, the driver comes with all matching weights, the wrench and configuration disc. Also unless otherwise stated, new r7 425 is fitted with a RE*AX shaft with Fujikura Biax technology. This Tour-quality graphite design reduces ovaling in the mid-section, allowing the tip to remain flexible to provide maximum stability, consistency and added clubhead speed. The ultra-Thin Wall technology allows over 40 grams of weight to be saved, which is then used to create TLC technology with four ports and four movable cartridges allowing you to change your launch conditions for longer, straighter drives. The Movable Weight Technology includes 28 grams: two 12-gram and two 2-gram cartridges offer a choice of six sets of launch conditions. This allows you to customize your launch condition for straighter and longer drives. Widely spaced TLC ports allow broad CG movement toward the toe or heel. Machine testing indicates shot-shape movement of 11 to 13 yards. Pull-Face construction permits a light, thin, strong clubface for a high COR that promotes fast ball speed for increased distance. Inverted Cone Technology dramatically expands the portion of the clubface that delivers high COR for consistently longer drives. The R7 425 comes with a wrench and weight set up guide.
