Sonartec SS-03. Sonartec are the (relatively) new kids on the block in terms of fariway woods in Europe - but have made a tremendous impact in the US - and their woods are to be found in the bags in an increasing number of tour players bags - including multi Major winning Nick Price. The SS-03 has the most penetrating ball flight in the SS Series and its deep, compact face is suited for players with faster swing speeds and the ability to work the ball. The SS-03 has been a proven winner on the PGA Tour since the 2001 British Open victory and has been a favourite of club professionals since. The Driving Cavity Sole allows for greater distance and control and a lower, flatter ball flight. Balanced weight distribution in the perimeter creates more stability on heel/toe miss-hits and a wider sweet spot. The deeper Centrr of Gravity creates a penetrating ball flight with no balloon effect and the ball is less apt to be affected by wind.
