I have used the unlimited Cobra driver (now illegal)until the middle of last year, when I purchased the M speed offset driver to help correct my fade and slice. I was so pleased with the M speed offset driver that I bought both the matching 3 & 5 woods, when the oppertunity arose to bid for the matching 7 wood I could not resist it, Managed to win it for a very reasonable amount and have not looked back since. In fact so pleased have I been with the Cobra woods that I have just bought a set of senior Cobra irons 5 to SW and am looking forward to reducing my handicap over the summer. I used to play Callerways irons and woods.

I used this today for the first time and hit several very long and straight shots and managed to get forty three stapleford points, it a pleasure to use.

Just a few lines for those golfers with a mid to high handicap looking for a fairway metal. Not being a long hitter of the ball off the tee, I found that on long par 5s I needed a fairway metal that was forgiving but the same time gave me distance and accuracy, I strongly reccomend the M Speed offset. As model info tells you those with a slice will benefit. This is my second M speed offset I bought one in 2006 unfortunately the face caved in on impact, I was informed by those who know it was a one off incident. Although it took me quIte a while to find a new one at the right price im glad i persevered i would be lost without it. its a must HAVE.

I have never had much luck with a 3 wood.During the past year I have bought the Cobra Offset Driver and 5 wood from you, both with regular shafts.I thought I would complete the set with 3 wood with a light flex shaft. What a difference ! I wish now that I had bought the Driver with a light flex shaft. At 78 I need all the help I can get, and Cobra have certainly given me that.

The club I purchased is excellent I do not know how I managed with out it. It does exactly as it says on the box.

Fairly compact head, picks the ball up superbly from the fairway or out of light rough when swung smoothly. If using off the tee, however, suggest teeing very low as I had a tendency to 'balloon' the ball on occasions! Have always tended to avoid woods of the fairway, preferring long irons, but the small amount of offset on this model really helps eliminate my weak shot to the right.

Model Info 2007

Cobra M Speed Offset Fairway Wood. New for 2006. Cobra has taken their game-changing technology - larger face areas, dual weighting systems and rhombus face technology - and brought it to the fairway. Like the new Speed Series drivers, Cobra Speed fairway metals are built to match your swing and ball speed to optimize launch, distance and accuracy. There are three in the series - X Speed (extreme swing speed of 104 mph+), F Speed (fast, 87-105 mph - the model for the majority of golfers) and M Speed (moderate speed 76-97 mph). This is the M Speed Offset version - ideal for those habitual slicers amongst us. The Cobra Speed fairway metals complement the King Cobra Speed drivers in providing increased distance, accuracy and forgiveness across the 9 'Hot' points on the clubface.
