Following the introduction of the new 'Driver' rules from 1st Jan 08, my Titleist (Hot Face) driver was no longer legal, therefore I deceided to purchase a new driver from GolfBidder. The categorisation of the Driver was spot on and I am really please with my new purchase. It will take a little getting used to, but 50% of the drives that did come out of the sweet spot had a great tragectory and length. Looking forward to some warm weather and swinging the club without 4 layers of clothing on.

This Driver replaces my Calloway ERC2 8 deg loft{the best club ever made][illegal on 1.1.2008] the X460 Tour has the same distance[long] with more forgivness with an off-centre shot. A higher trajectory means a softer landing with less run.All in all a very good club I feel that I have made the right choice.

Club gives good consistency and distance, whilst allowing a degree of assitance to the golfer. Once confidence is gained the ability to use the driver in more situations allows courses to be attacked. Overall a very good club.

found I could not hit my taylor made 320 tp anylonger,limited time availability and loss of strength after back surgery have taken their toll,so tried out a friend's calloway 460 which was a little too shut for me,this one's perfect and fades as well and most of all gives me the distance and accuracy of far memories.

This driver is long , very long. Struggled with it for the first few balls but once I had got the feel of the club it was great. Consistantly driving around 320-340 yards, can't wait for the summer !!!

This club flies straight and long further than the taylor made r540 that I replaced. The fujikura tour platform shafts surely are the best shafts in the world giving the big 460 head somthing to work with. In summary, soft strong and very very long.

Callaway X 460 Tour driver. New for 2006, the Callaway X460 drivers are the largest allowable under the Rules of Golf. Callaway's patented Variable Face Thickness (VFT) Technology takes ball speed to the edge of the legal limit. The X460's titanium face is robotically plasma-welded to the body using a precision manufacturing process which ensures face thickness is controlled to tight tolerances for robust performance over a larger face area. The "Consistent Alignment Sole." has been designed so that, at address, the subtle keels of the soleplate rest on the turf for ease in aiming the club face and stabilizing the club head. The unique configuration of the X460's larger face area - more than 10 percent larger than the Big Bertha Titanium 454 driver - allowed Callaway engineers to move even more weight to resist twisting from heel to toe and from sole to crown. This delivers a more consistent trajectory and more accuracy off the tee. The Callaway X460 driver is available in lofts of 9 degrees, 10 degrees, 11 degrees, and HT (High Trajectory) and comes standard with a Fujikura(R) 64-gram graphite shaft in Light, Regular and Stiff flexes. The X460 Tour version comes in 8.5-degree, 9.5-degree and 10.5-degree lofts with a Fujikura Tour Platform 26.3 shaft in Regular, Stiff and Extra Stiff flexes. Left-handed versions of the X460 driver are available in the 9-degree and 10-degree lofts. The left-handed X460 Tour driver is available in the 8.5-degree and 9.5-degree lofts. Tour versions of the X460 driver come in half-degree lofts to distinguish them from the standard models. In addition to a square face, the X460 Tour driver features a slightly modified centre of gravity position to produce trajectories generally preferred by better players.
